Neither John nor I got much sleep last night, not quite confident of our anchor but each time we check visually outside around the boat, our chartplotter and the anchor alarm we were good.
Woke up to dense fog this morning, kinda freaky not being able to see what’s around the boat.
The fog lifted and we pulled anchor about 9 am.
Sun ended up coming out and we passed a number of those million dollar homes and some million dollar yachts! If fact, we passed Tiger Woods home on Jupiter Island but couldn’t see past the landscaping to actually see the house, just a boat dock and some chairs by the seawall.
About 2 pm, we anchored in Lake Worth south of Peanut Island between Palm Beach Island and West Palm Beach. This area is apparently a very popular anchorage, since there are probably hundreds of boats here.
We had a cocktail dinghy ride around the harbor, then dinner aboard Carry On. Entertainment was provided by a sailing school and the beautiful view of West Palm Beach.
